What we’re about

Hello and welcome to our meetup! We are Boulder's longest running improv community. As you can see, we have hundreds of members who love improv just like you! We have fine-tuned our offering to one class: BEGINNING IMPROV - THE IMPROV SAMPLER and IMPROV SEMESTERS an improv intensive for those who have completed the SAMPLER and want to to delve deeper. Improv is like a box of chocolates – you never know what you’re going to get. In this class, you will! Geared to the newcomer, this class introduces the two main forms of improv: the short-form games as seen in the show Whose Line is it Anyway and long form – scene exploration. Basic tools are presented with a focus on building confidence with the unknown.Through play, students form bonds with each other, supporting each other as they face and break through their comfort zones. Comedy is a side effect, not the goal. You do not have to be funny to do this, just be adventurous!
