Who We Are
1: We empower Alaskan web development employees, freelancers, and entrepreneurs, giving them the resources they need to excel with their jobs, with their clients, and with their own entrepreneurial ventures.
2: We envision a uniquely Alaskan tech industry that is fiercely independent, internationally competitive, and provides a results-oriented alternative to the Silicon Valley lifestyle.

Join Us
We regularly hold two Meetups per month (with the date and time still to be determined) that have something for everyone. Community announcements at the beginning of each meeting are welcome!
Third Wednesday, emphasizes the technicalities of web development, includes thorough discussions and presentations on a variety of programming topics but based on Javascript wherever possible.
First Wednesday, focuses on web development in general and as it applies to Alaska, features presentations relating to freelancing and contract work, relationships with other industry stakeholders, programming advocacy, and tech entrepreneurship.
We also have plans for a number of unique events that will better pair Alaska's developers with other Alaskans and community groups.
