What we’re about
This is an awesome group for those who love to just get out and do things. We walk, hike, bike, kayak, get outdoors to explore and find fun stuff to do in our community. Meet with people who like adventures - or get together for more social type activities like potlucks, wine tasting, sledding, walking and chatting along Tubbs Hill, bald eagle watching or just grabbing a bite or beverage downtown. It's all about meeting new people and finding others who share the same interests and hobbies. Come young and old, but bring your spirit for adventure and any and all ideas for outings in this area and miles beyond.
So what's an adventure? Perhaps an afternoon on the trail, a dip in the lake, a long bike ride on the centennial trail, a picnic in the park, a brew at the local pub, an evening game of ultimate frisbee, or a night of salsa dancing. The possibilities are endless, but they only happen if YOU get involved by hosting a Meetup. The Organizer doesn't run the show but instead helps to organize the group. Organizers are unable to host all events.
Do you have an idea for a meetup? All you have to do is join the group and let us know what it is...simple as that. Best of all, being a member is basically free! However, donations are welcomed to pay for the yearly Meetup website fee. In addition we have one or more fundraising events a year to help pay for the website fee.
