Since 2004, SMLC friends have gathered at the Conservancy Farm for the annual Bat Count at the Farm. Please join us for this longstanding tradition where we will count the number of bats flying out of our big red barn. The bats sleep during the day and emerge at dusk, flying off into the Superior Greenway to feed on insects. The more eyes we have watching, the more accurate our count will be.

This is a family friendly event. Bring lawn chair or blankets if you’d like. Be prepared for mosquitoes and an evening temperature drop. No pets please. Donations to support the Conservancy are accepted and welcome.

Volleyball, yummy food, bonfire, and maybe s'mores at DJ's!

Come play some volleyball, eat some yummy food, enjoy a bonfire, and possibly some s'mores! I'll be grilling up some delicious hot dogs and hamburgers for y'all and if everyone who is coming could bring a dish to pass, we'll be all set! Bring a little veggie tray, some chips, cookies, etc. Also, please bring plenty to drink but I will have water as well. I'm happy to do a bonfire and s'mores after volleyball is over and the sun sets.

All are welcome and all skill levels! We'll be playing on grass. Bring grippy shoes and some water.

Drive over the wooden bridge and all the way to the third parking lot, then walk to the other side of the pond. Call 734-56four-5187 if you can't find us.
