The gathering is being jointly hosted by our Southeast region and other groups outside our area. This is the first time that the Southeast region folks have come together for a weekend. We welcome allies from across America to join us in sunny Florida!
We have some wonderful meeting spaces with plenty of capacity. Our rented hall on Saturday and Sunday holds up to 235 people. Over the weekend, we will offer many opportunities for collaborative discussions and brainstorming, enabling all of us to reflect upon and reassess our goals, strategies, campaigns, and tactics.
Background: There were two regional gatherings in 2015. The Northeast region met in New Hampshire in August and the Western states met in Denver in October. At both of these get-togethers, we advanced our thoughts on how we could roll out our network and further its important work.
