Having heard Maarten and Lisa speak recently - I knew I had to get them down to the Alma to share their story! This will be a bit of a masterclass lesson on Serviced Accommodation - I certainly learnt a lot!!!

Empower Homes was created during the lock down of 2020 by husband and wife team Maarten and Lisa Mocking. Lisa and Maarten have been investing in property since 2007 when they bought their first apartment in South-West London to rent out, but although they built a small portfolio of rental properties across England all the way up to Lancashire their jobs in aviation remained the main income stream. When COVID-19 and the resulting lock down hit the UK, and the aviation industry was being decimated, they had to re-think their strategy. That is when Empower Homes was born!
