What we’re about
RVA Clean City Sweep is a volunteer based litter clean up group under the Richmond Clean City Commission (CCC). Whatever your age, background, or profession, we all live, work, and play within (and are supported by) this environment. This meetup group should serve as a forum for diverse organizations and individuals to execute trash cleanups in Richmond, Virginia, while educating our community on the damaging effects of litter and other pollutants. Let's keep RVA beautiful!
The Richmond CCC appreciates our volunteers and litter cleanup event organizers and are happy to accommodate your events. Since the CCC is a non-partisan, City of Richmond City Council-appointed commission, we ask that you request permission prior to using the Clean City Commission name and/or logo on event marketing material. This will ensure that the events align with the CCC’s mission and ensure that the hosting organization holds the required liability for the event. Please contact the CCC Coordinator, Ms. Darlene Mallory-Jenkins at Darlene.Mallory-Jenkins@rva.gov, to request permission to use the CCC logo. We look forward to supporting your future events!
