Presentation: Beyond AI's Reach - The Enduring Value of Evergreen Design - [NS]
Hubitat, Mite Ružića 2, Novi Sad, RSIn an era of rapid technological advancement, this presentation explores why certain design principles remain timeless. While AI evolves at breakthrough speed, human needs, cognitive capacities, and physical ergonomics change across many generations - not months. By grounding our work in evergreen design fundamentals and humane design principles, we create products that serve people rather than overwhelm them.
This talk argues that lasting relevance comes not from chasing every AI trend, but from recognizing a fundamental truth: at the end of every product's journey sits a human being attempting to complete a task, solve a problem, or fulfill a need. When that human fails to use our product effectively, we have failed; regardless of how sophisticated our AI may be. By designing for gradual, humane change and respecting the unchanging realities of human ergonomics and cognition, we build products that remain valuable across technological shifts. The future belongs not to those who move fastest, but to those who move thoughtfully with humanes at the center.
