Cuddle Party

Cuddle Party is a 3 1/2 hour workshop that allows participants to engage in communication exercises, explore touch in a non-sexual space, experience personal exploration and intimacy, and have fun with like minded friends from the community.

Here is what Monique Darling, the facilitator who is coming all the way from San Diego to facilitate this has said about cuddle parties:

"I found a very unique gift from attending Cuddle Parties.I have attended over 100 Cuddle Parties and keep on facilitating and sharing them EVERYWHERE!! I'm just as passionate about them today as I was the first one I attended 5 years ago. YES It helped me reclaim my voice and I am passionate about helping others do the same. It teaches the attendees that they alone create their own safety container in life. But how did it completely change my life? In growing up when I received a no, it felt like I personally was being rejected so I did everything in my power to be nice, be loveable, people please and give those around me a reason to say yes, the catch 22....subconsciously, I could never trust another's yes until they could give me an honest no. Now my life consists of being in such appreciation for the beloved's courage, the ones I'm honored to be relating with, who say, "no" when they are a no and say "hell yes" when they are a yes. It gives me confidence to ask for ANYthing instead of censoring myself to only ask for what I think they will be a yes too. Love Offering/Appreciation: Early Bird Admission: $15 (the same amount that you'd pay for a dance class + social at a ballroom, or admission to some clubs, while learning and enjoying way more. We do need to pay for gas for the facilitator and other expenses).

What to Bring: Large Pillows or cushions to rest your head.

What to wear: Pajamas or other light comfortable clothing. Think flannel and silk rather than lace, cozy rather than risqué.
AND YES, there will be chocolate!

The best thing that I myself have learned from attending so many cuddle parties myself, including those facilitated by Monique, is gaining an ability to request what I really want while completely honoring and respecting any response.
