Tuesday Evenings, 7:00 - 10:00pm. Common sense Covid protocols are in effect. Everyone MUST be vaccinated to Attend. Masks are voluntary or required if the Models request them.
We love drawing and we love listening to music while we draw! We are a loose collection of professionals and amateurs who have been meeting every Tuesday to draw the figure since 1996. Comfort and good humor are important aspects of our group and we enjoy talking about important - or not important - issues of the day. This is not a quiet or hushed group! But no question, our dedication and devotion is to our love of drawing the figure. We work with a spectacular collection of Models, many of whom work with the local BAMG and Art Schools. All media welcome. Poses progress from short gestures, 1 or 2 minutes, up to 20 minutes. New artists are always welcome. Drop in fee of $16.00, or pay a $50.00 monthly fee.
There is absolutely NO photography allowed, so don't even ask! In this smart phone era this is a big problem. The bond of trust and respect between our Artists and Models is of the utmost importance to all of us and is essential to the vital creative collaboration that happens between Artists and Models. Please respect our Models and refrain from the use of your devices during poses (Drawing on your iPad/Surface is ok, but please disable your device camera.)
