Meet Dale Dougherty, founder of the Maker Movement & Maker Faire

The OC Mini Maker Faire Team would like to extend an invitation to you to come and meet Dale Dougherty, the founder of the Maker Movement and Maker Faires everywhere. Dale will be in Orange County next week and has asked to have a gathering of Makers and educators from the Orange County area so that he can meet with us and see what's going on in Southern California.
We will be meeting next Thursday Dec. 6th from 7:00 to 8:00pm at the Beall Center for Art + Technology at UC Irvine. A limited number of free parking passes will be available in the Student Parking Structure off of Pereira, first come first served. If you are unable to get free parking you can purchase a two hour parking pass for only $4.
This is a great opportunity to meet Dale, show MAKE what's happening in Southern California in regards to the Maker community and STEM education and give them an idea of who's going to be at OCMMF 2013.
For those educators who are interested they will also have information about the Maker Education Initiative which is just taking root here in Orange County.
