About the Session:
We're publishing a series of lessons learned from working with the British Army for a year. We'll be drawing parallels between the values, principles and practices of Kanban and their applicability to a military context, and how businesses can learn from this research.

This isn't a story with a happy ending; it's a warts-and-all exploration (within the bounds of our security clearance) of a high-stakes business operation and an illustration of where Kanban and KMM can support positive change. Hopefully, it will inspire others with some of these insights.

About the Speakers:
My name is Andrew Kidd, and I’m the founder and CEO of a company called Daring Futures. We help leaders integrate technologies into their operating models for competitive advantage. I specialise in solving operating model integration problems such as:

  • lead-time and quality issues
  • concept to market delays
  • ... and talent engagement

These are a natural outcome when an organisation evolves to face challenges created by:

  • accelerated delivery practices (such as Agile)
  • hybrid or remote working
  • … and innovation management

My name is Matt Odell...
