What we’re about

Follow us on Twitter @hackaday and @hackadayio!

Check out videos of previous Hackaday Los Angeles talks.

This meetup group is for Hackaday and Hackaday.io members in the Greater Los Angeles area.

Hackaday.io is a platform for people who like to hack things for the better. A place for Hackers, Designers, and Engineers to discover, get inspired, and document their projects online. It's free to join and share projects, and you can sign up here >> www.hackaday.io

We are taking back the term “hacking,” which has been soured in the public mind. Hacking is an art form that uses something in a way in which it was not originally intended. This highly creative activity can be highly technical, simply clever, or both. Hackers bask in the glory of building it instead of buying it, repairing it rather than trashing it, and raiding their junk bins for new projects every time they can steal a few moments away.

Our Events

Our LA base is in Pasadena, so most of our events will happen around there. However, we'll try to do events across LA (let us know if you have any suggestions!).

We hold monthly meetups with two expert speakers as well as time for lightning talks and networking opportunities where the community can share ideas, get or give help, and find out about other groups and resources locally.

Our Sponsors
