What we’re about
Based in the Golden, Colorado area, this group is for anyone who enjoys trail running and hiking the beautiful trails of the Colorado front range. Most runs are based in Golden but occasionally extend further into the Front Range, Summit County, and Sawatch Range. We are all about goofin' on the trails then racing to a locale for brews and grub after. Rabbit and turtle gear are equally welcomed and appreciated.
Prost! ¡Salud! Skål! Sláinte! Na zdravi! Cheers!

There are a few route options:
1. 3.4 miles, 540ft elevation gain Map
2. 7.5 miles, 1,300 elevation gain Map
3. 11 miles, 1,800 elevation gain Map100% trail. There will be no snow or ice on trail to be concerned about unless Colorado dives into winter again. We will split into groups at the trailhead based on route and speeds.
Afterwards we will all BBQ in the park starting at about 12. Hot dogs, sausages and hamburgers will be on the menu along with water and assorted snacks. However, in order to take part in the BBQ there is one catch!
You must pick up one piece of litter you find on the trail and throw it away in the park trash bins at the trailhead. Use your best judgement; don’t touch it if it’s gross. And do not go far off trail to grab it. You can snap a pic/video as proof or have another runner vouch that you toss the trash. No litter, no food!
General Park rules to keep in mind:
1. Dogs are allowed on trail. Pack out the poo
2. Trails are shared with bikers, stay aware
2. No amplified sound
3. No ball games around the picnic area
4. Runners must be in groups of less than 15 people on trail. Groups must be 1/4 mile between each other (we will split at trailhead, if needed)*Subject to reschedule due to adverse weather!*
