It was founded in 2011 in London by two Estonian entrepreneurs seasoned and inspired by years of experience working abroad and building Skype, TransferWise has since created and led a global revolution in international money transfer.

Their value-driven journey is not only inspiring but full of insights they are ready to share with the world.

More than one year ago, they decided to set up a developer and customer support shop in Budapest, Hungary, in the heart of the CEE region.

Join us on Monday to celebrate the developments of the fintech scene in Budapest with TransferWise co-founder Kristo Käärmann.

The evening will kick off with the Kristo's insights into the last two years, how he sees the development of the fintech sector globally and an open discussion on vibrant startup ecosystems, banks attitude towards fintechs, the Estonian mafia and more. The floor will be open for questions from anyone, before, during and after the event, and we encourage all participants to come prepared with thoughts and queries!

The event is organised by TranferWise and MKB Fintechlab and is FREE of charge to join but requires registration.
