Fintech@Budapest Meetup with Steve Lee and Blueopes

On the next meetup our guest speakers will be Steve Lee (KCL) and Blueopes.

Steve Lee is holding the role of Chief Strategy Officer at KCL. KCL stands for Korea Crediac Life, they are a fintech and O2O platform based in Seoul, Korea. KCL consists of 2 business models – a device called AD-POP, which is a mobile payment platform, and an O2O platform, which is a software called EMO (everything mobile ordering). These are the two businesses that they mainly focus on in Korea. They are currently implementing and servicing about 470,000 merchants with mobile payment and O2O services.

Blueopes is a proposed (not yet licensed) portfolio management company. They make personalized financial plans, with a continuously handled and rebalanced investment portfolio considering the following environmental and social issues: clean energy, clean water, protecting forests, women’s equality at workplace, minoritites equality at workplace, organic food, supporting local communities etc.
