The Cannabis Tech Startup group is for anyone working in the field of Cannabis Technology or interested in learning more about the apps, products and systems behind the industry. We believe technology will be an essential part of solving real problems in the cannabis space and moving the industry forward.
Introduction
The Cannabis Technology Association (CTA) is a trade association of cannabis technology businesses around the United States, and other interested parties. The CTA works to promote the legitimization of the legal cannabis industry through collaborative creation of transparent technology. The CTA bridges the communication gap between licensed cannabis businesses and ancillary technology providers, and also represents the interests of the Cannabis Tech sector at cannabis industry events, technology industry events, and during communications with lawmakers and regulators.
The Organization
The CTA was founded in November 2015 in Denver, CO to mobilize the groups of cannabis professionals, technology professionals, and cannabis technology professionals who had been gathering informally in Colorado and Washington.
