TYPE: Hike| PACE: Conversational/Fitness |TERRAIN: Dirt trail |DISTANCE: 4.2 miles total up and back

Walk Description: Join us for a scenic hike on Lion's Lair Trail on a Tuesday morning. We'll walk up and back, 2.1 miles each way and approximately 780 ft. of elevation gain. We plan to take a short break at the top of the trail to enjoy the scenery.

Schedule and Planning: The trailhead is at 1929 Sunshine Canyon Dr. Coming from Boulder you will pass the Centennial parking area on Sunshine Canyon Dr. on your left. The parking lot for Lion's Lair trail is approximately 1.8 further up the hill on the right. Please note that parking is limited at Lion's Lair so you may want to carpool up from the Centennial parking lot. If carpooling, meet at the Centennial lot at 9:50 AM.

Trip Notes:

-It's Halloween so come dressed up if you like or else just ready to hike!

~Sorry but dogs are not allowed on Lion's Lair.

~ Wear comfortable shoes or hiking boots, sun protection and clothing appropriate for the weather.

~ Be sure to bring water, and bring any snacks or other supplies you will need.

Cancellation Policy: This walk will take place rain or shine and will only be canceled in the event of extreme weather conditions. Check Meetup or text the walk leader for the most up-to-date conditions.
