STEP 1 IN THE CHECK OUT PROCESS:
The CNC Machine, like most power tools, has the potential to cause injury to operators. For safety reasons, you must be "checked out" to use the CNC Machine independently. This class is the first step in the check out process. You must complete a second, one-on-one class with your instructor to demonstrate your knowledge of the software, operating procedures, and safety guidelines for using our CNC Machine.Participants who would like to be checked out on the CNC Machine will have an opportunity to schedule a one-on-one with their instructor at the end of this class.
Participants who opt out of a one-on-one class to get checked out are still permitted to use the CNC Machine, but must have a member of AHA who is checked out on the machine present in the space while their project is being cut.

- AHA Study Hall - Sunday EditionLink visible for attendees
Got things you need to get done, but are lacking the motivation to do them? Do you find yourself being more productive when there's someone simply "existing" with you? All Hands Active Study Halls are here to help!
This is an experimental series of events to help folks be more productive -- one of two weekly excuses to make things happen. While we can't always guarantee there will be a designated host (or even anyone else) around every time, we will do our best to facilitate the productive interactions.
We will meet virtually in All Hands Active's Study Hall chat room on Matrix, then depending on the group's needs, pivot to a Zoom call or other group-based chat: https://matrix.to/#/#studyhall:allhandsactive.org
As always, if you find the cool stuff AHA is doing to be useful, donations are always appreciated, and for a good cause:
